Codie?s debut album ?The Road Ahead? has earned him 3 of the 6 nominations at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. It features the singles ?Not Just the Beer Talkin? nominated for song and single of the year, as well as the most recent release the title track called "The Road Ahead".
?The Road Ahead? nominated for album of the year was recorded in Nashville with producer Steve Fox. It includes 12 original songs on which 11Codie had a hand in writing along with other talented Canadian songwriters such as Tim Taylor, Steve Fox, Jay Semko.
Codie and his debut album continues to gain exposure nationally and internationally receiving radio airplay on over 105 stations in Europe and Canada.
He has performed at a wide variety of venues from small establishments to larger events as well as opening for such artists as Charlie Major, Ronnie Prophet and The Good Brothers.
